1. Q. Is it possible to buy day passes?
A. Yes. At time of writing, day passes are available, along with 3-day passes and full festival passes. However, presale will end at 10:00AM May 18. Any remaining passes after this point can be purchased at the box office.
2. Q. I purchased my festival pass 2022 before the 2022 postponement. Is my ticket still valid?
A. Yes. Please contact if you have not received a new ticket for 2023.
3. Q. What documents do I need to travel to Iceland?
A. There are no covid restrictions in Iceland domestically, or for those travelling here.
4. Q. If I can't travel to Iceland due to contracting or covid restrictions, can I get a refund?
A. No. If attendees are unable to travel because of restrictions or illness, we are not able to provide refunds. Attendees are responsible for their own travel arrangements and are obliged to know the laws and Covid regulations in the country they're traveling to and from.
5. Q. What documentation do I need to present in order to enter the venue?
All attendees are required to present their full names and E-tickets/ticket numbers to claim bracelets.
6. Q. Do I need to wear a mask at the venue?
A. No, but masks are available for those who want one.
7. Q. Will alcohol be sold at the venue?
A. Yes.
8. Q. Will food be sold at the venue?
A. No. However, as Gaukurinn is located in the heart of downtown Reykjavík, shops and restaurants can be found in the immediate vicinity of the venue.
9. Q. Can I bring my own alcohol or food into the venue?
A. No. This is not a BYOB event.
10. Q. Are backpacks allowed in the venue?
A. Yes, but they will be checked by security.
11. Q. Is there a ticketed area to hang jackets?
A. No, unfortunately not. And we are not responsible for lost or stolen property of attendees.
12. Q. Is there parking at the venue?
A. Not at the venue specifically, but in the surrounding area, and it's not free until after 18:00 (free on Sunday), so we would recommend public transportation.
13. Q. Are credit cards accepted?
A. Yes. Debit/credit cards are accepted for merch sales and box office sales. Only Icelandic Krona (ISK) is accepted as cash. And as always, cash is king.
14. Q. It is okay to bring a camera to the venue.
A. Yes, cameras are allowed. Just no flash and preferably during the first song only.
15. Q. I lost or broke my wristband. Can I get a replacement?
A. No. We are unable to replace lost or ripped wristbands.
